Power Cables
EVO3 Initium is IsoTek’s new entry level power cable designed to offer high quality performance at an extremely fair price. Initium is a must for replacing all of your free standard black plastic power leads which have been designed down to a price not up to a quality.
EVO3 Premier was inspired by discussions with high-end electronics companies, many of whom produce audio equipment that retails for tens of thousands of dollars and yet is bundled with poor quality power cords that significantly constrain performance.
EVO3 Sequel power cable offers increased performance over IsoTek’s multi-award winning Premier, featuring optimised conductor strand geometry and active shielding. Sequel comes in a standard length of 2 metres. Silver plated 99.9999% OFC conductors.
EVO3 Elite is a true high-end power cable that uses unique 7-core geometry, high purity copper, and high purity FEP to offer astonishing performance. It is the ideal upgrade for source components, CD players, music servers, DAC’s or preamplifiers.
At the Optimum’s core are three silver plated Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper conductors, with each conductor strand being of a square configuration for tighter bunching. The OCC offers a vastly superior level of purity with outstanding electrical conductivity.
The unique design of the EVO3 Ascension consists of deep cryogenically treated silver plated Ohno continuous cast copper conductors, wrapped in a dielectric of air, with partial FEP contact, before a further extruded FEP sleeve seals the construction.
Ultra Blue II looks the same as the old Ultra Blue except for the “II” denoting the new generation cable. The sound is fuller, more organic and better balanced in the whole range. The top end detail is still the same but everything else has risen to that performance level.
The old Black sounded “clumsy” compared to this new version Black II which is far more refined, on point musically and more in keeping with our research over the last 5 years. Looking very similar externally, the difference is apparent when you plug it into your system.
The new Silver power sits above the Black power cable in performance, the Silver power cable does a great job balancing the smooth attributes of the black cable while giving more energy, detail and dynamism that is the signature of the Tellurium Q Silver family.
This is the first Ultra Black power cable but it just seemed less confusing for customers if it is labelled the same as the rest of the Ultra Black range. It takes the place of the Ultra Silver but with improved performance and has the Ultra Black family sonic profile.
It has some of the “magic” of the Statement power cable because it came out of that same research and so is a smooth performer that brings your system to life. Which is relatively meaningless until you hear just what they can do for your system.
