The SPU Classic NE is a Moving Coil (MC) cartridge with an elliptical stylus profile and provides more detailed sound reproduction and expansive imaging. The Classic NE can be used with vintage SPU-type headshells to recreate an authentic and functional SPU cartridge.
The SPU Royal N cartridge, with its half-inch adaptor, provides the ability to mount the unit on standard headshells, as well as in a wider range of tonearms. The SPU Royal N provides the same sound reproduction properties as the SPU Royal GM series.
